GAME LEVELS

Tutorial

The Tutorial is intended to get the player acquainted with some of the upcoming game mechanics, including but not limited to, Player Movement, Enemy AI, Win Condition, Interactibles.

Level 1: Snow

This setting is intended to represent the main character’s fear of heights. Thus, as the player has to move higher and higher up to get to his goal, the risk of falling increases.

Level 2: Forest

This setting is intended to represent the main character’s fear of wilderness. He has to face obstacles such fallen trees, broken tree trunks, piles of stones, and hidden pits. Moreover, there are enemies on the ground and in the sky. The level is all about concentration in order to keep the player alive. Just like real forest, awareness is life in this level!

Level 3: Underwater

This setting is intended to represent the main character’s fear of depths.  As the player is undersea and doesn't have enough "oxygen" to stay too long underwater. So, in order to get more oxygen and increase the amount of time remaining, he has to collect oxygen bubble objects throughout the level.  The player also has to avoid moving shrubs that are lethal.

Level 4: Darkness

This setting is intended to represent the main character’s fear of darkness, or the fear of the unknown. In reality, people never know what’s down there in a cave or how deep they can go. The enemies used in this setting are ghost and bat which represent the fear of the unknown and the fear of the darkness respectively.
